YACHT SALES AUSTRALIA WEDNESDAY SERIES

A strong fleet of 24 boats headed off on course 4 for race 3 of the  Wednesday Yacht Sales Australia Non-Spinnaker Race in third Series for the season. Zen ( Gordon Ketelbey) was 1st home in  division 1 ahead of Little Nico( Adrian Walters) in 2nd and Swish (Steve Proud) in 3rd place.  Innamincka ( John Crawford ) took the honours in Division 2 ahead of Another Dilemma  ( Jim Vaughan) and  Perception ( Charles Caskey ) in 3rd.

THURSDAY TWILIGHT SERIES

A beautiful night with a 12knots Nor east breeze greeted the 44 boats for the 2nd last Twilight race of the season. Tempo  (Michael Smith) was first across the line in division 1 ahead of Shearwater (Guido Belgiorno) and Little Nico (Adrian Walters) in 3rd place.
In Division 2 Moonshadow V ( Lloyd Bennet ) took line honours ahead of Mortgage Choice Rumba (Rob Carr) and Lumine Lunae ( Raoul De Ferranti) in 3rd.
Caviar (Max Theeboom) was the winner in division 3 ahead of Peach Teats Velocity ( Meredith Jones)  and Angourie (Andy Farrell and Norm Searritt)  in 3rd . In Division 4 Chowringee (Harry Brigden) took out 1st place with Cutting Loose (James Kaill) in 2nd place and Single Malt (Peter Gilliland) 3rd.

The second to last race of MHYC's Inshore Series was held on Saturday with a light to moderate breeze turning fresh to strong as the afternoon progressed.

THURSDAY 4TH APRIL

Celebrate the last season of the 2018/2019 Twilight Series in style with our Bollywood night on the beach!

KAYIMAI BREAST CANCER FUNDRAISER

The 2018/2019 season of MHYC's Twilight Series see's Rob Aldis' boat, Kayimai, with an all female crew. This inspiring group of women have decided to take up the challenge of raising $10,000 before the last twilight of the season to donate to the McGrath Foundation, while raising awareness and interest in women in sailing. 

Support the cause;
Keep Cups are being sold at the Sandbar Cafe - filled with a complimentary coffee on purchase, all proceeds go towards the McGrath Foundation.
Protest flags are being sold at the MHYC Office - all proceeds go towards the McGrath Foundation.
